Hello! I'm Rachael.
I’m a British children’s book illustrator living in Formby, Liverpool UK. I have been working in the children's book industry for five years, and have illustrated 26 published books to date. My work is traditionally and digitally painted, and portrays rich imagery and engaging characters, and I love to find inspiration for this when visiting my local national trust and the glorious Lake District. When I'm not illustrating, I like to spend my time by playing the piano, running, cooking, and reading a good book.
I'm currently enjoying working on middle grade fiction and picture books, and my proudest achievement so far has been becoming Dame Jacqueline Wilson's new illustrator.
